Success of breakfast program a tribute to city’s generosity

The City’s Every Breakfast Counts program began its life by exceeding fundraising expectations, and that success continued through its first summer of providing breakfasts to local children.
Mayor Christian Provenzano, who spearheaded Every Breakfast Counts, said the program provided 1,779 meals over the seven weeks it ran, for an average of 254 meals each week.
