Storm shuts down city

A winter storm has virtually shut down Sault Ste. Marie.
A number of closures have been reported across the city, including to banks, retailers and The Sault Star.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie is asking all residents to stay off the roads as conditions are not safe to travel.
Public Works and Transportation crews have been working around the clock to keep main arteries open.
