Sparling will retire
Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s deputy chief is retiring.Sean Sparling, 48, is stepping down on Feb. 1 after 27 years with the municipal force.The North Bay native was hired by SSMPS in 1992. He worked in several departments, including patrol, investigation services and professional standards, before being appointed deputy chief in 2014.
