Some city facilities to close for Sir William H. Hearst Day

Many city facilities and services will be closed Monday to recognize Sir William Hearst Day. Closed on Monday Aug. 3 are the city landfill and household hazardous waste depot, the Civic Centre, Fire Services Administration office, the GFL Memorial Gardens office and box office, the Main transit office and Senior Services (Bay Street Active Living Centre and the Northern Community Centre Active 55+), the cemetery office and the city’s landfill and household hazardous waste dept.Also closed
