SIU ends Sault probe

A domestic call that resulted in an injury to a Sault Ste. Marie man when police responded won’t be probed by the province’s Special Investigations Unit.Sault Ste. Marie Police Service went to an incident in the area of Lake Street and MacDonald Avenue last Dec. 22.“Soon after officers entered the unit, they became involved in an interaction with the male,” a release says.The man was arrested. He was brought to Sault Area Hospital by paramedics for a finger injury.SIU end
