Showcase focuses on youth

All are invited to enjoy art created and performed by local youth at the fourth annual Youth Art Gala, hosted by the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council.
The Gala, which begins at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at the Civic Centre, will feature visual art, from photography to sculptures, and music, from solo artists to bands, said Rob Sandvik, chair of MYAC. He also expects a display of short films, but details were still being finalized early this week.
