Sheehan’s precarious work motion passes
MP Terry Sheehan’s motion to define precarious work and help Canadians struggling has passed in the House of Commons.
The motion passed unanimously 293-0.
A standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities will now begin work to address precarious employment in Canada.
Sheehan said he’s pleased to have received support from all members of the house, Liberals, Conservatives, NDP, Block, Green and Independents.
