Shamess discipline hearing ongoing

A discipline hearing for Sault Ste. Marie sports physician Dr. Brian Shamess is continuing in Toronto this week.
Shamess is facing allegations of professional misconduct through the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
The regulatory body for physicians and surgeons conducts disciplinary hearings into allegations of misconduct.
The college alleges that Shamess engaged in the sexual abuse of Patient A and/or in “disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional” conduct by, among other thin
