Searchmont Ski Resort to be sold

Searchmont Ski Resort is about to be sold.
Sources have told The Sault Star that a deal to sell the ski resort north of Sault Ste. Marie to an American businessman is imminent and could be closed as early as the end of this week.
The purchaser is said to be very experienced with ski resort operations and has operated ski resorts in other markets. He views Searchmont as an investment from a business development perspective and has the financial resources to invest in the operation, sources said.
