Sault man charged following single-vehicle crash

A man was charged following a single-vehicle collision near a central-area intersection.The crash happened close to Cameron Avenue and McNabb Street at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday, police say.Alan Harkness, 62, was charged with operation while impaired, alcohol and/or drug, having a blood/alcohol level of more than 80 milligrams and dangerous operation.His court date is Aug. 24.
