SAH among northeastern Ontario hospitals plagued by zero day virus
The privacy of patients has not been breached despite the presence of a so-called a zero day virus in its computer systems, Health Sciences North said Thursday.
Since Wednesday at 8 a.m., all 24 northeastern Ontario hospitals — including Sault Area Hospital — have been dealing with IT challenges caused by the zero day virus, a malicious software program with no previous patches or solutions.
