Robertson started Pathways Retirement Residence

Elaine Robertson, former president of Pathways Retirement Residence, has died.Robertson died last Friday. She was 88.Robertson purchased the Commodore Inn on Trunk Road in 1986 and built a 54-unit retirement residence. Seventy-nine more units were added in 1990.Robertson sold Pathways in 2009.She formerly operated Lakeshore Lodge retirement home on St. Joseph Island.A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre.Another Sault Ste.
