Remand centre disturbance investigated

Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre is in lockdown for a cleanup and security search following a disturbance Sunday afternoon.Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services spokesperson Brent Ross declined to say what happened.“Given the matter is under police investigation, it would not be appropriate to provide further comment,” he said in an email.Sault Ste.
