Rain helps with forest fires across North

Continuing rain that is falling across Ontario is helping to control forest fires across Northern Ontario.
Isabelle Chenard, media spokesperson for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry said there has been a large drop in the number of active fires across the region as a result of recent rainfall.
In the Northeast region, there are currently 25 active fives of which 20 are being observed and five classified as under control.
