'Quilts for Kids' creates comfort for thousands

“Quilts For Kids,” a charitable group, began over four years ago out of a chance conversation Vicki Young had with a friend about quilts being donated to an orphanage in Africa.
Immediately Vicki decided she too, along with some friends, could do this for those who may need quilts in Sault Ste. Marie.
She contacted the head office in Pennsylvania and started the first Canadian chapter of “Quilts For Kids.”
