Pumpkins feted at festival

Pumpkins are celebrated at Roberta Bondar Pavilion later this month.The sixth annual pumpkin weigh-off festival, presented by Algoma Farmer’s Market and City of Sault Ste. Marie, runs Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.Pumpkins to be entered in the weigh-off should be on site by 11 a.m., a release says. The weigh-off follows at noon. Top three pumpkins get prizes.
