Popping up all over

THESSALON — Pop-up shops are all the rage these days.
And why not? Besides making their owners a bit of cash, pop-ups can create a lasting image for customers. Besides, they’re just plain fun.
That’s what Greg Taylor says about his pop-up store, Samson Books. You might wonder why Taylor, who lives in Trenton, Ont., would even travel so far from his southern Ontario home with a bookstore. He says he’s got a special connection to the area, having grown up in Thessalon. Not
