Narcotics worth nearly $40,000 were allegedly found when police stopped a vehicle on Sunday morning.Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s automated licence plate reader spotted the automobile on Gore Street near Albert Street East, a release says. The vehicle’s owner had a suspended licence.Heroin was allegedly found in the driver’s possession. Brass knuckles, cocaine and about 65 grams of fentanyl were also seized from the vehicle.
