Police say online comment no threat to school, students

An online comment, perceived as a threat, made by a student regarding the safety of St. Mary’s College is being taken seriously by police and school board officials.
Police were on scene at the school early Tuesday morning.
An email letter by school principal Colleen Hannah was also sent off to parents explaining how the situation was being handled.
School officials learned of the incident at about 8 p.m. Monday night and police were immediately contacted.
