Possession of controlled substance charge
A Sault Ste. Marie man was charged Monday with possession of a controlled substance.
Police say the accused was observed Monday by officers swerving back and forth into oncoming traffic on his bicycle. When approached by officers, he fled. Police took the man into custody a short time later and charged him with three counts of breach of recognizance and one count of breach of probation.
