Police flag featuring new crest blessed

A blessing of a Sault Ste. Marie Police Service flag marks the nearing of the end of a more than five-year effort to get the municipal force’s own recognized crest.Service protocol officer Sgt. Ray Magnan has overseen the process to register the crest with Public Register of Arms, Flags, Badges of Canada that began six to seven years ago.
