A Sault Ste. Marie woman is thanking a city police officer for changing her life for the better.The female, who was not identified in a notes of appreciation portion of Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Board agenda last Thursday, said Const. Joe Poderys offered “help and encouragement … to her on several occasions.
“She felt that his care and compassion changed the course of her life,” the document reads.Poderys is an 18-year veteran with Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
