Pilot designed to promote social inclusion, increase transit riders

Sault Ste. Marie’s levy boards, agencies and funded organizations, made presentations to city council Monday, citing their budget request or changes for 2019.
City council did not make any promises during the presentations, saving discussions for budget deliberations next week.
The information session saw all the city’s funded organizations make budget requests. Many asked for funding identical to that of 2018, but some requested additional funds to offset increasing operational cost
