Parole board denies Hall unescorted temporary absence pass

The Parole Board of Canada is keeping David Scott Hall behind bars.
It has denied the 47-year-old’s request for unescorted temporary absence for both administrative reasons and for personal development.
Hall was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with no parole for 15 years.
Peggy-Jo Barkley-Dube was 27 years old in 1999 when she was repeatedly stabbed in her Sault Ste. Marie home and found dead on the kitchen floor.
