Officer struck, cruiser spat on

A Goulais River man is accused of kicking and hitting a police officer after being arrested for allegedly stealing an item from a downtown business last Saturday.The property, taken from a store in the 200 block of Bay Street, was valued at about $240, police say.An employee who tried to stop the male was allegedly threatened with a weapon. The type of weapon was not released by police.The male is also accused of repeatedly spitting on the windows of a cruiser when sitting inside the vehicle.Rya
