Off-duty officer spots erratic driver

An off-duty Ontario Provincial Police officer noticed a commercial vehicle driving erratically northbound on Highway 17 in Vasiloff Township last Saturday.Vasiloff Township is about 15 to 20 kilometres south of Whiter River.The officer followed the vehicle until the driver stopped at a business in White River Township, a release says.Craig Dyer, 52, of Mount Pearl, Nfld., was charged with dangerous operation and operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs.His court date is Wednesday in Sault Ste.
