No Swimming

Swollen late last week from heavy rain, Crystal Creek filled the pool at the falls in Kinsmen/Hiawatha Park nearly to the lookout. Washouts closed Connor and Case Roads, Connor Road above the falls and Case Road below. Public Works and Traffic requested residents’ assistance across Sault Ste. Marie in keeping catch basins free of leaves and debris. Environment Canada reported 75.8 mm of rain on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
