Municipal leaders pleased OMPF grant stays stable at 2018 level

The City of Sault Ste. Marie is breathing a sigh of relief after receiving word from the Minister of Finance that its annual Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund allocation for 2019 will remain the same as the previous year.
Sault Ste. Marie’s allocation of the OMPF grant is $15,455,200.
It’s the same number that was inserted in the 2019 budget numbers when council deliberated its budget last week.
“This is reassuring for our city as we implement our council approved 2019 budget
