More ‘venting’ — less opposition

BRUCE MINES — A joint meeting recently held to discuss a proposal by Ontario Trap Rock (OTR) to close a portion of Trunk Road drew mixed emotions.
The meeting was set up to allow OTR to hear public sentiment about the proposal before the company incurs the substantial expenses involved in studies. A number of residents voiced concerns, but mostly complaints about OTR’s relationship with its neighbours, not about the potential road closure.
