Manufacturing-IT partnership could help diversify Sault economy

Algoma Steel is partnering with the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre to develop IT solutions that will help the company modernize its operations and remain competitive in world markets.The partnership has resulted in provincial government funding of $713,590 to create a team of information technology specialists who will develop the software needed and help foster innovation and modernization to position Northern Ontario as a global leader in the manufacturing sector, said Sault MPP Ross Roman
