Man hurt in east-end fire

An early-morning fire at an east-end home sent a man to Sault Area Hospital on Friday.A resident at a home in the 100 block of East Champagne Drive called 911 at about 5 a.m., said deputy chief Paul Milosevich of Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services.Firefighters found three occupants, all adults, outside the home upon arrival.The extent of the injuries to the male could not be confirmed.An Ontario Fire Marshal investigator will attend the fire scene.The fire is not considered suspicious.
