Looking for a lift

Wawa’s legion needs a lift.
In a fundraising campaign known as Lift for the Legion, the branch is currently raising money to put in an elevator in order to meet disabled accessible requirements.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 429 president Mary Anne Pearson said fundraising for the undertaking began over a year ago after an age friendly community survey identified that the small hall was not disabled accessible. As a result, local agencies have stopped renting the facility
