Third-year business student Shailja Verma tries the slip and slide water activity on the front lawn at Algoma University on Saturday afternoon. The event was past of Algoma’s orientation week. More than two dozen events, including roller-skating, an outdoor screening of Guardians of the Galaxy and The Emperor’s New Groove, yoga and camping on the west lawn ran over seven days. “It’s been wild,” said interim vice-president of student life Marissa Ditoro.
