Labour council, interest group takes aim at Bill 47

Mike McCleary wants to make sure Sault Ste. Marie’s politicians are accountable, not only during election campaigns, but throughout the term.
At this stage of the game, he’s giving Sault MPP Ross Romano low grades.
McCleary said he sent an email to Romano on Oct. 24, asking him for his position on Bill 47, Making Ontario Open for Business Act.
The proposed legislation cancels the former Liberal government’s Bill 148, which will see minimum wage rise to $15.
