Dick Joy, 81, Dec. 25, 2017. Long-time teacher at Sir James Dunn Collegiate and Vocational School. The Eagles won the Dunn’s first city and Northern Ontario Secondary School Association senior football championships in 1971 and 1972. Joy also coached senior basketball teams at the Dunn to a number of city and NOSSA championships. “He lived and breathed basketball,” said Jeff Giovanatti. “He was a straight shooter who told it like it was.
