Imitation firearm shown at East Street building

A man held an imitation firearm when he answered his door at a downtown apartment building on Wednesday, police say.The weapon was allegedly shown when someone made a maintenance call at the building in the 0 to 100 block of East Street. The man also held the weapon when police went to his unit, a release said.
