Huron Shores bridge back in action

HURON SHORES — After almost a year’s closure, the Bolton River Bridge is back in use after repairs.Work was completed by the Phoenix Group, with engineering oversight by Tulloch Engineering. Municipal staff hopes the bridge’s lifespan has now been extended by up to ten years. A total $100,000 was allotted for repairs.
Located in Ward 2, in the former townships of Day and Bright Additional, the bridge was closed from Jan. 12 to Dec. 21.
