Sally Field celebrates her 100th birthday with well-wishers at Delta Hotels Sault Ste. Marie Watertfron on Saturday afternoon. She was a 1990 recipient of a community service award from Ministry of Community and Social Services for her work with Women in Crisis (Algoma). Field helped lead work for Oakland Place, a new home for women who experienced abuse. A cancer survivor, she was also active with Canadian Cancer Society. Field worked 14 years as an attendance counsellor
