Harvest Algoma wants Halloween pumpkins

Getting used pumpkins from Halloween would be a real treat for Harvest Algoma to feed the hungry.
The United Way Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma district operation has drop-off locations at Ken Brown Recovery Home, Soup Kitchen Community Centre, St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, St. Vincent Place and its own recently opened location on Second Line East on Thursday and Friday.
Donated pumpkins will be used to make loaves, muffins, breads, cakes and root vegetable stew.
