Gore Street fire scene must be fixed or razed: CITY

The owner of a downtown building badly damaged in a recent fire and explosion must take steps to fix the structure or tear it down.An unsafe order issued to Enersphere by City of Sault Ste. Marie’s building division, issued last Friday, calls for an engineer “to review the entire building (at 164 Gore St.) and provide a report on its structural adequacy, and what work needs to be done to remedy the unsafe condition of the affected buildings.” If such improvements are not possib
