GLFC scientist plugs for girls in STEM

The world marked International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8, a day to celebrate the advances made toward equal rights and recognize the hard work of the women fighting for them.
Dr. Amanda Roe, a research scientist at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre, is paving the way in Sault Ste. Marie for women to make a career in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) fields.
