Get ready to roll with automated garbage collection

Sault Ste. Marie’s automated garbage collection program began this week, with residents rolling out the first batch of new green carts on July 2.
Every home in the city should by now have a green cart, says a media release from the city. Delivery continued right up to the end of June.
Notices went out to those residents whose garbage collection day changed. The Canada Day holiday then delayed their first pick-up by a day.
