Ford plan for autism ‘terrifying’

Local parents of children with autism say that families are “terrified” of the changes the Ford government is making to the Ontario autism program.
The government announced last month that effective April 1 the current needs-based system in which each child diagnosed with autism is provided the therapy prescribed by professionals would be scrapped.
