Final Downtown Street Party marks first day of fall

This year’s third and final Downtown Street Party will ring in the first day of autumn on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The first two parties started at 6 p.m. but next week’s final party will begin at noon.
Downtown Association General Manager Josh Ingram said this one starts early for two reasons: “because it’s on a Saturday, so why not come down and party earlier than on the Thursday ones, and because the second Hounds’ game of the season is that night.”
