Festive RIDE campaign underway

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has launched its Festive RIDE campaign.
Police checked 1,705 vehicles during the 2019 campaign, which resulted in the following:
• Sixteen roadside tests conducted
• Zero three day licence suspensions
• Seven criminal charges for blood alcohol concentration .80 plus
• Sixteen Highway Traffic Act charges.
