Feds fund airport radio system
Federal funding is helping upgrade an alarm system at Sault Ste. Marie Airport.Transport Canada’s Airports Capital Assistance Program is contributing $16,250 for an integrated radio alarm system.Radios alert operations and security staff to incidents in the security screening room and on the apron.The current system is more than 25 to 30 years old and was in place when Sault Ste.
