Feds expect pay equity legislation to pass quickly

Pay equity legislation introduced by the federal government is “long overdue,” said MP Terry Sheehan.
Sheehan, who was a participant on the pay equity task force which provided recommendations to create a proactive regime to deal with pay equity issues within the federal public and private sectors, said he expects the newly introduced legislation will pass quickly.
