Father LaBute taught at St. Mary's College

A Basilian father who taught at St. Mary’s College on three different occasions has died.Rev. Marvin LaBute died of complications from kidney disease at Anglin House, a retirement centre for the religious community, in Toronto. He was 81. His date of death was not released.LaBute taught French at St. Mary’s from 1960 to 1963, 1975 to 1981 and 1986 to 1988.The native of Tecumseh, Ont., was a Basilian for 62 years.
