Elliot Lake man faces impaired charges

An Elliot Lake man was charged following a two-vehicle collision near Lake Nipigon on Aug. 29. An automobile was towing a truck on South Bay Road when it was struck, Ontario Provincial Police say.Philip Boyle, 24, was charged with operation while impaired, alcohol and drugs, having a blood/alcohol level of more than 80 milligrams, take motor vehicle without consent and dangerous operation. No court date for the accused was released by police.
