Election results now official, voting day ran smoothly: Official

Sault Ste. Marie’s municipal election results have been officially finalized.
The city saw 22,269 voters of an eligible 55,261 cast ballots last Monday (40.03 per cent).
Certified results show that Christian Provenzano was returned to the city’s top elected post with 15,303 votes – three times the amount of his closest challenger, Rory Ring (5,143 votes).
Ted Johnston, in his second attempt to secure the spot, netted 1,178 votes and Kemal Martinovic picked up 192.
